Inspection & Testing

WHAT TO EXPECT

MetroFire Services provides a streamlined inspection service that is designed to minimise work for building managers and inconvenience for occupants. From the scheduling and notification process to the last asset test, MetroFire can manage everything swiftly and easily. Our process minimises attendance frequency, attendance time, and inconvenience.

Scheduled site visits: All access requirements to your property are pre-arranged through the correct contacts and communication protocols.

Experienced on-site professionals: MetroFire technicians understand the various access requirements and protocols for your building. This includes technician identification, sign in procedures, WH&S logins etc. This includes the pre arranged access times, manager liaison times, and the appropriate wearing of uniforms and PPE.

Multiskilled technicians: Technicians are skilled over a cross section of fire asset types. Upskilling is a part of our internal training system.

Exchange equipment taken to site: Pre arranged maintenance issues are combined with normal inspections to minimise the cost burden of repeat attendances. This represents significant cost savings to the building. For example, MetroFire have stocks of pressure tested CO2, Dry Powder, Water and Foam extinguishers of all standard sizes. Due to these high stock levels we are able offer an exchange system that can be utilised during scheduled inspections.

Rigorous inspections: We provide scheduled testing of all fire safety assets as per contractual agreement. This includes a log report and corrective action report for assets that require immediate attention.

On-site communication: Our team member will liaise with the on-site building manager. Attendance and departure information is always imparted.

Maximised efficiency: MetroFire technicians are available to assist building managers with any other issue whilst on site. Along with this, MetroFire office staff are available during normal business hours.
